The partnership will enable Smart Wires to accelerate commercial adoption in Latin America by leveraging Hunt’s extensive networks. Also, the transformational impact achieved form Smart Wires’ SmartValve solutions globally, have compelled Hunt Energy Solution to collaborate with them. With the association of Hunt Energy Solutions, Smart Wires is set to fulfill their desire of transforming the basic principles and operations of electric grids.
In addition to extending efficiency, the SmartValves can level up or level down the reactance of a functional circuit. Gregg Rotenberg, President, and CEO of Smart Wires, said, "At the core, what really differentiates us is how quick it is to install or move these devices. The idea of easily re-deployable power flow control means that utilities can adapt their grid as conditions evolve, instead of making an investment in infrastructure that stays fixed for its 40-year lifetime."
By diffusing the innovative outputs, the Smart Wires is extending its long-established status on global platforms. Pre-Smart Wires, the energy sector lacked easily redeployed, smart solutions to effectively route and manage excess capacity. Furthermore, the integration of Smart Wires has allowed users to harness the full potential of the electric grid.
In addition to the distribution partnership, Smart Wires and Hunt Energy Solutions have also signed a mastery supply agreement, which will allow Hunt Energy Solutions to distribute the upcoming electric transmission projects in the southwestern United States.
For the continuous improvements in new electric devices, Smart Wires received “Top 10 Transmission and Distribution Solution Provider” by Utilities Tech Outlook in 2018.
