To generate energy via Anaerobic Digestion (AD), the potential of Water Resources Recovery Facilities (WRRF) and is well understood by the industries. Less well-known is the limit to which heat exchangers can enhance capableness in wastewater plants. The economic decision depends upon the overall ability of the final project and whether or not to invest in AD. Heat recovery using heat exchangers enable waste water resources to be used to preheat feedstock or digesters to improve biogas production efficiency. The same heat can be used for pasteurization and concentration processes, increasing the value of the byproduct extracted from the AD process, which is known as digestate. A new way to improve efficiencies apart from adding heat recovery in modern plants is by adding or upgrading appropriate technology to existing plants.
It is an ideal opportunity to pair an existing plant with high-tech features to improve its overall efficiency. It would maximize both energy production and global greenhouse gas savings. The easiest way to achieve the same is by capturing useful heat. The heat exchanger is the best way and the first step of doing it. To process it efficiently heat can be used in the AD process. Heat can also be practiced to separate water from digestate by concentration as it is easier to manage concentrated digestate.
Evaporation has been the primary method employed for ZLD processing. To lessen the boiling point of the liquid being treated evaporators used in ZLD systems are often run at lower pressures. Evaporation, crystallization, and cooling are three keys that the advanced approach is composed of. Operators need heat exchangers that can cope with robust operating parameters.

The product quality has to be above the saturation point so solid crystals will appear in the solution. HRS Heat Exchangers first complete a research study to evaluate the nature of the saturated product. The pure water is removed from the solution with evaporator concentration. The operators want to treat their wastewater streams as the right heat exchanger can help in doing the work more efficiently by saving time, energy, and money.
