FREMONT, CA: EcoFlow, a firm that specializes in portable power and renewable energy solutions, announced today that the EcoFlow DELTA Pro portable home battery would be available on Kickstarter on July 15. The DELTA Pro will be EcoFlow's highest capacity battery yet, with a vital capacity of 3.6kWh that can be increased to 25kWh – enough to fulfill an average family's energy needs for nearly a week in an emergency.It is the first portable home battery in the industry to combine several power sources such as the grid, solar, wind, and gas.
Pre-orders will be available on Kickstarter and EcoFlow's website, with fulfillment scheduled for later this year.
"What separates the DELTA Pro from what's currently available on the market is that it comes along with a series of add-ons," said Thomas Chen, R&D Director at EcoFlow, "With solar panels, wind turbines, smart generators, and extra batteries, the DELTA Pro can be its own ecosystem and achieve self-sufficiency. This will be critical when it comes to disaster and emergency situations."
The DELTA Pro is EcoFlow's entry into a rapidly expanding category. In recent years, the global market has experienced an increase in the demand for residential batteries. According to the survey, the global residential battery market will increase at a compound annual growth rate of 6.5 percent to 23.03 billion dollars by 2026.
EcoFlow hopes to capitalize on this growing demand by launching the DELTA Pro on Kickstarter. During the brand's 2019 crowdfunding effort, the EcoFlow DELTA raised almost two million dollars. These Kickstarters, combined with the launch of the EcoFlow RIVER in 2020, propelled EcoFlow to the forefront of the portable power business.
